Issue 2 reviewed

‘Sammy the Skunk’ (Or in my phonetically southern dialect, “Sammy the Skyoonk” issue 2 was reviewed this weekend at Con-Sequential by artist pros.
It was reviewed by Award Winning Writer Earl Kress, Top comic book artist, Mike Norton, myself, Kevin, Puppetmaster Steve Troop & his girlfriend Sarah. The reviews were unanimous– we laughed uncontrollably!
Earl, writer on such awesome cartoons like ‘’Pinky and the Brain'’, was *gagging* on his own spit at one point, when he saw one of Matt’s characters folding a dollar bill– with his feet!
Mike Norton called Matt “genius” for some of his gags. Sammy had the following at the show, and the pros all want copies. There is talk of “how can we turn this comic into a sfx book with the push button sounds and turn page sounds”?
Honestly Matt, at first glance the comic looks like a fan-mag, BUT once you begin to really read and look at the panels you discover how over the top this book is. Ie, Part praying mantis, part bread warmer, Matt’s character “Toastra” had us in the floor with tears in our eyes! Matt’s unique, and mostly bizzare characters all grow on you, and this book may just catch on!
Sammy The Skunk gave us hours of entertainment and some of the hardest laughs of my life. Be sure and read it with a group of people to discover Matt’s brand of humor.
